AAC Cyclone would be good.

You can put any barrel into the MRP or MWS:
DBMG MRP Conversion
DBMG MWS conversion
$150 MRP or $170 MWS
30 caliber junkie.
God Bless America.
I thought about going that route, but $200 for the barrel mininum plus $150 for the conversion vs $350 for a LMT barrel. I think I will wait.
The Hornady ammo has been available to a few makers for a month or two. The Rem subsonic ammo has been available much longer than that - about 9 months.
For supersonic - yes - the Hornady is out now. You can design your rifle around a combination of Rem subsonic and Hornady supersonic ammo.
Or if you want to shoot 7.62x39, any wildcat, or desire a particular spec that LMT won't offer (like not budging on 6.8spc that you alluded to).
Dennis is working on my 3rd conversion as we speak (BHW 18" 6.5PCC with pinned Noveske switchblock... 223 parent case wildcat). Still waiting on dies and an 762-SDN-6. He converted my 10.5" Noveske 300FB before 300BLK was a reality and my 20" Noveske 6.5 Creedmoor for the MWS (all in cost right at the $700 LMT charges for its stainless 308s).
Will be cool if LMT does release the chromed 300BLK barrel for $344 as based on the picture from SHOT they had what looked like a 16" stainless barrel with pistol gas on display.
die anyone have any info on what barrel lenght the 300 will be in? seems like I read 12.5 and maybe 16 to start. Just wondering cause I really need 16 no sbr for me.

Why do I see spelling mistakes from others in this thread? I really do appreciate your answer to my question though.
