Sorry, we're not providing release date's on forums for our gear any more. They are coming along in the testing and things are going smooth. Thanks, Drake.

    PMAG transparents (smoke/clear) & colors

I am resurrecting an old thread after faithfully trying the search engine here at M4C, but I can't find anything about what ever became of the smoke & clear PMAGs. I don't see them for sale anywhere now. Were they a short run? Did they not hold up like the regular PMAGs? I'm looking at getting a Lancer, but am curious about what happened.

I see that they colored (orange, etc) PMAGs were made in short runs, but are there any plans to make more colors/patterns? The orange would be handy at the range, or a nice red. Thanks.

The Tmags never made it to production, there are a few floating around, possibly from TPD, but no full production.
They were dubbed as training use only due to the inferior strength of translucent polymers, I doubt we will ever see them made by Magpul, but maybe a better polymer will come around for use...

They were never for sale from Magpul. Some made it out to people for testing, and some of those people decided to sell them and make a quick buck instead of doing the T&E.

The Lancer L5's are good to go, you might consider them as an alternative.
