Here is mine! It's pretty stock and I liked it the way it came or I wouldn't have bought it! It came with Novak sights and at the time I liked the way they fit on the gun(I'm considering 10-8's though)! I didnt like the wood grips so I switched them out with Gunner Grips! Only thing I really changed was the thumb safety to a Kings single side thumb safety and added a Smith & Alexander magwell!

    Question

Can we get some info on the rail? Thanks!

    Those were my comfort changes.
I've run it through a pistol class and have shot some IDPA with it, very happy with it.
It loves the CMC power mags.
I replaced the ignition group with a Cylinder and Slide set, got lucky, a true drop in 4.5 trigger.

Dawson rail, put on by Drake.

You have to buy the Dawson adaptor for the X300 but it is the only add on rail that I feel preserves the lines of the 1911 when the light isn't on.
That and it still fits in some holsters of mine where my other 1911 with a Novak rail did not.

Have you replaced the full length guide rod with a GI assembly? Besides making the pistol easier to field strip without tools, the GI assembly opens up more options if you need to clear a malfunction one handed. The FLGR was the first thing to go on my loaded.

I'm also not a fan of the ILS mainspring housing and replaced it with a Guncrafter Industries housing with an integral lanyard loop.

Also, what magazines are you running? Here's mine - it runs well with either the Wilson 47D or the CMC Powermag.

+1 to 10-8Performance, much info there on duty/hard use 1911's. Also a lot of good info on 10-8forums. If you go back away, you'll see a custom run SA did for a PD. Think it was called the SRT model or something. I'll look for it.

Novak has a new rear sight with a ledge to rack the gun, so does Hienie and 10-8. The 10-8's are hardened steel to resist the inevitable bumps it will receive in a duty holster.

MIM, is kinda hit or miss. I would definitely look at a 10-8 slide stop, grip screws, mag release and Vickers ignition parts.

Also as noted, loose the FLGR and ILS mainspring housing.

SA can do all the work you want, and come highly recommended.

Depending on the dimensions the lock work can be tuned well to about 4#. I would change the extractor and maybe the ejector. If you want a light, add a rail. Other than that, shoot it until it runs smoothly and without fail for at least 500+ rounds. For parts recommendations use Hilton's website. Personally, I would stay away from C&S "drop in" trigger kits. Specifically Tactical II.

Here is my baby. SA Loaded Stainless Blacked Out.

Although not quite this pretty now. Three weeks and 1000 rounds does that.

I replaced the original parts on my 2 Loadeds with the following: Wilson MSH, Wilson recoil spring, Wilson firing pin return spring(extra power to improve "drop safety"), Wilson "Bullet Proof" firing pins, Ed Brown Hardcorps slide stop and extractors, firing pin stops and barrel bushings, and replaced the FLGR with Brown standard G.I. plugs and guides. I also replaced the original grips with Wilson diamond wood on one and Gunner grips on the other. None of these changes were really needed as the guns functioned fine as they came from the factory. The changes just were made for my personal preferences and they make me feel more confident in my guns.... But of course, opinions are like, well, you know the rest!

Sights you can see, a decent trigger, and reliable. No need to go all J.C. Whitney.
