    Noveske/300BLK on a Colt Lower

I'm in the process of purchasing an SBR upper for my LE6920 lower. Eventually I intend to use the SBR exclusively as a suppressed weapon. As a result I am considering purchasing THIS upper.

    My question are:

    1. Will need to make any changes to my LE6920 lower or will the weapon function properly "as is"?

    2. Is this a quality upper to run suppressed?

    3. Can I only use a 300BLK suppressor on it?

    4. Does anyone have any experience running this particular upper & any feedback?

As a matter of fact I have, unfortunately I did not find anything specifically about this upper and how it would function on a Colt lower or even if it would matter. That said, I have read several threads/post explaining how a suppressed rifle with subsonic can experience malfunctions. Which is why I am thinking about purchasing this particular upper, according to their description it will not have any issues outside of firing subsonic unsuppressed. Which is not something I intend to do.

If you're implying that there is a thread or multiple threads that contain the answers to my questions, feel free to provide links. The search function came up empty for me.

Did you use the ORANGE search button at the top?

I believe my previous response was abundantly clear, again if you know where there is a thread discussing it please provide the link. The only response I get when attempting a search for the "10" 300 blk low pro" is sorry there are no matches.

Thanks, I guess my concern was how legit of a claim can that be?(from Noveske). They state in the product description that it will work with either sub or super. What isn't real clear is whether that is specifically with the rifle, the upper or both.

Anyone have first hand experience with this upper or rifle?

The caliber allows for both subsonic and supersonic, it was part of the 300 BLK design. If the gas port position and size are tested and set correctly both types of ammo will function.

Any lower with a standard carbine action spring and H buffer so you are set with the Colt lower.

You can use any 30 caliber silencer with 300 BLK.

I'm sorry that I didn't do your homework for you. If you read this thread https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=63569 in the Above 5.56/.223 area there are dozens of pages that you can read about the caliber and various tests that have been conducted.

The lower has no influence really on this function other than you may need to adjust which buffer you use.

Noveske chose to size their gas ports to work reliably:

    - with supersonic ammo unsuppressed
    - with supersonic ammo suppressed
    - with subsonic suppressed

It MAY be iffy with subsonic ammo unsuppressed.

That's the only issue, and Noveske chose to build it this way.

I've shot that particular upper suppressed and it is awesome.
