My HK416, irons only. SF Mini Scout.

Second place vote is my SR-15, but I can't trust it 100%. It's tempermental with ammo. I've never had any malfunctions of any kind with the 416 and it's eaten everything I've fed it over its 10,000+ round count. Whenever I eventually shoot out the barrel, I'll either pick up another upper or just get an MR556.

Lol. The day I buy a camera, everybody's computer on this site will die.

    I promise.

I have probably almost 15K devoted to KAC. (The first purchases were the worst, because I was still on Wal Mart pay.)

The first cut was done by a local machinist, the other two were done by ADCO, after I pulled the barrels off. First barrel was later also worked on by a local gunsmith. He was from California, went to Lassen and got a gunsmithing degree, and such.

(ADCO does not have a URX wrench from what I understand, or at least that's why they told me on the phone. I had to borrow one.)

I cut the URX-IIs down myself. (first was done by machinist)

    No problems to date.

Sorry for lack of pics guys, I imagine the compliments sometimes.

    Needs moar URX-III though.
    We miss you, AC.
    We miss you, ToddG.

I would say it would be this build. It is relatively light, compact and very accurate.

    Hello Fire Medic,

If you're specifically asking which 5.56 caliber rifle or carbine - then it'd be my box-stock 20" COLT A2 style rifle.

I have COLT carbines as well, and I love them too, but if I knew I was headed to a fight, I'd take my 20" COLT A2 style rifle.

I'd rather beat a bad guy to death with my Browning High Power, than shoot him dead with a plastic pistol.

    Mine is assembled with:
-"American Tactical Imports" marked lower receiver.
    -Daniel Defense LPK.
    -Magpul BAD lever.
-Vltor Receiver extension and Clubfoot Modstock.
-S----'s Tactical Midlength LE Upper assembly (Yeah yeah...shoulda got a BCM )
    -DD A1.5 rear sight
-Aimpoint ML2 in Larue gooseneck mount
    -BCM Gunfighter Medium charging handle
-Elzetta flashlight mount with "custom" 250 lumen light
    -BFG Victory two point sling
    -Ergo Grip pistol grip
    -A2 handguards and muzzle device
-"I Kick Hippies" sling adapter/end plate

Or, I could use my AK
    -Un-neutered FEG SA2000M
    -Red Star Arms FCG
    -BJB SWIFT selector lever
-CAA AR15 receiver extension/adapter with Magpul MOE stock
-K-VAR Bulgarian pattern polymer lower handguard
-Ultimak railed gas tube (When the AK was my primary weapon, it wore an Aimpoint Micro co-witnessed with factory open sights and a Surefire 6pLED in an offset mount)
    -Liberty Cans Phoenix Flash Hider

I'm NOT an LEO, SF, contractor, ninja, Vympel operator, etc. Just a regular Joe with a HD rifle.

I'll go against the grain also,,but then,,thats just me ! I have a Custom Built M1a,,all New GI Out Of Wrap Parts with a Criterion 18.5 Med Weight Chrome Lined Barrel. I have tons of mags & plenty of quality 7.62x51 Ammo. Nothing special,,just a K.I.S.S. rifle I guess !!!

I would take it out of the "Pretty" Stock and put it in a GI Synthetic Stock.

That's hard to pass up. The next firearm I buy will be a self-gift for getting my college degree. And I am 99% sure it will be an M1A/M14.
