Had this rifle built about 18 months ago and I've taken three classes with it so far. I also have been using it primarily for training and competitons. To date, it has just under 13K through it and I've only had two malfunctions (double feed) so far. Those occured using a SF 60 round magazine when it was brand new.

    ^^^^This without question!

    Daniel Defense V4
    Magpul UBR stock
    Troy BUIS
    Miad grip
    Eotech 553

Hell of a fighting rifle and would trust my life with it without question. 4-5 mag dumps and she runs like a top with fantastic accuracy to boot!

I'm surprised less people haven't chimed in with the Noveske 12.5" upper wearing a DD Mk18 handguard, SF FA556 suppressor, S&B Short Dot, and Noveske FFL lower, VLTOR A5 stock and Magpul ACS.

Otherwise, with double stamp not an option, then 14.5" LW CHF Centurion with URX 3.1 Rifle upper.

Right now I would have to say my 10.5 LMT mrp rifle. It is set up with a aimpoint micro R-1 in AD quick release mount and mag pul strap. It also wears a thunder beast ba 30 for sound suppression.

Funny you mention the above lengths... If I could only have one, it in fact, would be a 12.5 with a Mk18 rail. A2 FH, A5 RE and CTR, MIAD and T-1 on mine.
Option 2 for me would be a 14.5 in one shape or another. Ideally a midlength with a Mk18 rail as well, and the rest of the above listed items.

Out of the ARs I own, it would be a 16" Middy with a variable 4x scope, with cattail. With an H-1 Aimpoint in my pocket as a backup.

I would like to start a discussion on a setup for a fighting rifle. If you could only have 1 rifle to do everything for you, ie: training classes, range use, HD/SD, etc, how would you have it set up?

What barrel length? FSP or Recce? What stock? VFG? Optic or Irons? What light? Muzzle Device? Etc.....

A lot of times we get caught up in what's new and cool, and we lose track of what is really necessary, not that it's an issue, but as we pile up these rifles, many of us still have that one rile that is always the go to one, the one that you have no doubts about any of the gear on it and is your work horse.

the bold, italics, underldine, are my emphasis

Ruger P9, 9mm Carbine with a Vortek, strikefire, red/green dot...

i know...i know...but it shares ammo and magazines with my Ruger P95 pistol...
