Remington 887 shotgun

Tell me about the Remington 887 tactical. I just won one at the annual Alaska Peace Officers Association law enforcement shoot in Fairbanks. I took 2nd in individual and my team. (me and Alaskacop556) took 1st place team. I don't know much about this shotgun. I will post pictures when I get home.

They put a plastic shell around the reciever and barrel to protect it from the elements. A guy at my shop said you cant hurt them hell if you wanted you could row the boat with them. Remington claims its based off the 870 but the bolt looks differnt almost like it has a roatating head like the nova. I think it will serve you well my only concern is that moisture or water getting cought between the armour and metal parts causing rust even though rem says its water proof. I own 3 remington shotguns and love them all. Congrats on your win and shotgun
