Gets an A+ from me. Not much room to improve IMHO.

I wish these deals didn't only come along when I've already made the purchase

If there was ANY way possible to justify another AR in the fold, I'd jump on this!

If they'd sell a 16" mid length 1:7 for somewhere near that price, I'd buy one. Flame away but it's the honest truth. That is why BCM and Spikes and it's starting to look like PSA do what they do in my opinion.
It might also have something to do with my coming into AR's late in the game.

Wonder why it is they are so relatively cheap now though? Economics/production wise? Any insights?
If you were to look at such brand names as Colt, S&W, Glock, etc, one thing is clear. These brands usually hold their value and or go up in value. The reason is that every hillbilly and their brother knows these names. So when you go to trade or sell one of these guns, the person on the other end identifies that the weapon is a quality one and has good CS backing it up.

Whether or not you are into Colt, they are the standard that all others are measured against and at the end of the day, they hold the TDP.

We are NOW able to offer this price because we got a Colt Distr. account and are passing on the savings to the consumer.

Being into old cars, I'm accustomed to loosing my ass on everything I buy. But I take your point.
