I wont/dont believe it till said SME tells me, or I see the proof some where. I am not trying to be argumentative, I just dont remember second hand info with no references flying around here. I do think PSA is putting out a good product, but Im fairly certain the only way you can obtain FN parts is illegally.
heres the link where the PSA rep said their FN barrels.
I was under the impression that there are only 3-5 hammer forging machines in the USA, so they all come from one of a few places supposedly.
I do think its styrange that he said where they come from, thats usually not info they reveal

You wouldn't think they would risk their reputation on a claim like that if it weren't true?
Personally, I feel that revealing info like that (if indeed true) will legitimize them and their products in the eyes of those who consider them too cheap to be "really good"..........anyone else agree?
Noveske, Centurion, and BCM were all using FN CHF barrels made to their spec. I'm not sure how it is now that DD has their forge up and running. It has been a while since I cared enough to research CHF barrels so things might be different now.
Well I called PSA today and asked how the barrel would be marked and a gentlemen said they would have FN on the barrel along with PSA's markings. Again that's what I was told. And as far as companies not saying where they or who they get their barrels from, Spikes just put up a new CHF upper for preorder and looks like FN is the barrel supplier also. It's clearly marked on the barrel. Just supplying the little info I have.
Anybody got salt? My crow is a bit bland.
Nevermind.
