NOW I see dicks. I'm going to go nail my woman now to re-affirm myself. It's still pretty damn funny. Gun industry takes itself way too seriously in my opinion.
wow people are really taking the time to paint and photoshop penises. That is a lot of penis thinking!!! I have thought about them too much just typing this.
Just want to say thanks fellas.
I really don't know why, but I haven't laughed that hard for a long time.
Good stuff!
For what it's worth, I wouldn't want a wiener gun either.
I'd buy one just because. Everyone else overweight 50 year old white guys in polo shirts marketing to Rambo and Spikes puts hidden subliminal dicks on there stuff. Rock on I say.
Do you really think so?? What makes you believe this?
Are you saying this is not a "real" FN barrel? I just find it hard to believe both ST and Aim would sell something saying (in this case a FN barrel on this ST upper) and not telling the truth. I doubt ST (and Aim supposedly knowing that "FN" was just put on the barrel for the heck of it by ST) would go this low to "trick" their customers for profit. I just don't see this being true.
So has anyone got their ST CHF upper in yet? I know the first one's shipped out tue. I ordered mine wed and it's coming tom can't wait! Aim Surplus really has their act together, I love ordering from them. I just wanted to see if anyone got theirs in yet. If so, how does it look?
And does anyone know if these specific barrels are "new" to the market or have they been around for awhile?
Mine will be in tomorrow, not that I know wtf I'm looking at beyond weather it's put together straight and such. I promise if the front sight is crooked or some crap I'll bitch about it.Plan to sight it in this weekend but my shooting at the farm is limited since the town has expanded all around it in the last decade. There's also a horse pasture where my "range" used to be. As I said before I can't comment on the intricacies of barrel design but I'm pretty sure Spikes can put together an upper correctly.
As to the FN mark, I sure wouldn't think so. Big company's are usually pretty hot on that sort of thing, and Spikes and surely AIM are big enough players these days with enough advert coverage that someone would notice and pick up the red phone. Just my opinion, C4's been in this biz since I was a kid if I had to guess and I imagine he's seen it all.
What makes be believe this is that I know how the barrels come from FN when a gun dealer special orders barrels.
Never said these weren't "FN" barrels. What I said is that they are NOT barrels made for the Military following the TDP. Only barrels made for .Mil contracts have "FN's" roll mark on the barrel. Then, the buyer (in this case ST) laser engraves whatever they want onto the barrel. So for me, to laser engrave "FN" onto the barrel is a rather cheesy.
Notice that other companies that buy FN barrels do not do this.
