    New build in process

Hey guys after building a couple AR's from parts for friends i decided to finally do it for my self.

Let me know what you guys think!

So far i have a Cmmg lower with a Daniel Defense LPK, Magpul moe grip and stock, Spikes ST-T2 buffer.

I have on order a LMT 16" with LMT M16 BCG that hopefully arrives this week, and a Troy TRX extreme 13" rail with a troy low profile gas block a couple weeks out and eventually a Battlecomp 2.0.

Going to go with magpul folding sights and for now the Vortex "poor-man's-aimpoint" Sparc until i can convince my wife to let me spend some more and upgrade.

It's hard to tell from the pics, but is the castle nut staked? If not I would recommend grabbing a Noveske or similar QD endplate and then staking that castle nut down.

This will give you a rear QD point, as the MOE stock does not have one.

Sorry about the quality of the pictures, they were taken with my phone. I haven't staked the castle nut just yet for that very reason. I can't decide on what sling setup I want to use.

It's finally done! The upper and rail came in today so after work i put it all together and i cant wait to get out this weekend and break it in. I'm in love with the trx extreme rail, it's very sleek. Sorry about the pictures once again, i dont know how to load them so they appear on the post.

I really like that. You'll be happy with the TRX. I really like it because I reach out further on the forearm.
Let us know how you like the Vortex RDS. I want a red dot for my plinker but I don't want to buy another H-1.
I'd like to get your impressions on it. What kind of magazine is that?
    Nice rifle!

Thanks Facejackets for fixing the photo's

I really like the trx rail so far, it's fast becoming my favorite rail on the market.

It's a Troy Battlemag, i like them so far, i did have problems with feeding on the first two rounds with a full mag. I think that may not be mag related though where i haven't fully broken in the rifle yet. And i freaking love the TRX rail, they should rename it the Troy BFRE for Best F*#%!* Rail Ever. And i'm just waiting for the sight to show up in the mail, i've heard good things on this red dot and it's a screaming deal for the money.

Ok so after shooting the sparc for 2 months with 1500 rounds through it and a 4 day carbine course at front sight i'm starting to have some issues with it. It's held it's zero fine but even after changing the battery the dot is flickering. sometimes when the dot is flickering I cannot shut the rds off. Hopefully votex will get back to me soon so I can figure this out.
Now the gun on the other hand has been perfect and has exceeded mt expectations. LMT knows how to make an upper. Now hopefully my battlecomp 2.0 will show up soon.

What do you think of the DD LPK? Is the overall quality good and hows the trigger pull? is it a nice clean break?
