We chose to stay with the DI platform for two reasons. The first, is the stability of the weapons system in rapid fire compared to a piston weapon. The second is the simple fact that it is an established AR platform design, and we wanted to maintain interchanageability of parts both external and internal in the field. We love piston stuff, but don't have any plans to incorporate it into our designs as of yet.

I believe it's in your company's best interest to list ANY and ALL specifications of the rifles you are selling. This isn't quite the type of market where people are keen on just assuming a given company is going through all the necessary steps when making an AR.

If you say you use "rigorous testing," what do you mean by this? What does the "intense scrutiny" entail? I suppose my point is, these are the types of phrases that everyone uses and they tend to sound cliche when they are left standing on their own. There's no reason to remove the rhetoric, but there's also no reason NOT to expound on it, and give something substantive. On your site, the page for the Upper gives about an order of magnitude more information than the page for the complete rifle.

    Just some of my observations.

I second all of this. The more forthcoming you are with the technical details of your product the more acceptance it will gain here. Assuming it meets the standards of our members.

These are great ideas guys! I've got Jamie and Craig working on a couple docs to attach to the rifle description that will detail tech specs, parts used, testing procedures and the results. Look for new updates within the next week or so.

Any other suggestions you have and we're happy to see what we can do. We're a young company and greatly appreciate any help we can get!

BTW, we are also starting a schedule of demo days to let people check it out and shoot it in person. Our belief is 'Don't take our word on it, shoot it yourselves'. Our next demo is this weekend at Best of the West Range in Liberty Hill Texas (http://texasshootingrange.com/)

    Thanks!

The website lists your NiB coating as "unique". How is yours different from all of the others?

We use WMD coatings version of NiBx. It's a slightly different compound than competing coatings. That beings said, though technically a little different, it does not vary at all performance wise. The unique part is the components on which we use it: the complete interior of the upper, lower, and the bolt carrier group.
