Thats reason enough for me, alone. Knowing why they tend to do better is just icing on the cake.
The only issue with that is BM and numerous other brands sell stripped lowers, and you cannot be 100% sure the gun that is not fairing so well is not a FrankenGun. Most Colt guns are factory, since they do not sell stripped receivers.

I hate to keep throwing their name in there, but neither does Armalite, and IIRC, LMT does not make a complete weapon, at least according to their website.

    I've heard good and bad.

Bad for dumb asses who call colt to find out useless information like their rifles born on date.

SAW sells stripped receivers... or at least they have in the past. I've done builds on them, and so has LotBoy.

True, they do not directly sell complete carbines from their website.

However, they do sell complete upper receivers and complete lower receivers. Buy them both, and push your own pins. I guess that might seem questionable to the new user (not saying that you are) but I don't. The dealer might even do it for you.

Or you can go HERE for a complete carbine.

I think it odd they don't sell complete. My reference of that fact was that yes, you could have an LMT frankengun quite easily.

I am new to the AR world somewhat in that I have not messed with them a lot and am always willing to learn.

No, I don't think 1 screw and 2 pins mean anything. upper/lower from the same company shouldnt be an issue.

PS. I did not know you could get a 6520 for less than $1500 (impactguns.com has them for 1600+ and they are usually pretty low there). I will check that out!

Got me, I never needed it.

    Ken Elmores is great, though.
