Does BCM pinned their gas blocks?

I'm thinking about buying a BCM mid-length Recce upper. Does anyone know if BCM pins their low profile gas blocks on these uppers?

    Thanks.

Granted, it's not the upper you're looking at but the gas block on my Kino upper is pinned and has two screws with thread locker.

IME if the gas block is under a FF handguard they typically do not, but if it is exposed or under simple plastic handguards they do.

As mentioned above, the Kino appears to be pinned. And the Dissipator upper I have is pinned as well.

PB talked to White Oak about this not too long ago.... they don't like pinning if the intention is trending towards precision... Too much potential to mess with barrel harmonics or some such.

My 16in LW CHF upper with Troy TRX extreme does not have a pinned gas block. I wish bravo company would just pin them across the board, I was actually really disappointed that it wasn't pinned.

Are they using a clamp on gas block or one with set screws?
