    WTS: 5.56 Ballistickers

5.56 / .223 Ballistickers are on the shelf in:

    55 @3000

    62@2800
    62@2950
    62@3100

    77@2600
    77@2675
    77@2750

Ballistickers are black with text in a desert tan. they are 1 X 1 1/4 so they fit nicely in the left side of an EoTech, left side of an upper receiver (with text vertical for easy reading), right side of a magazine well, or back on a telescoping or solid stock (if it is a smooth, and not pebbled, surface).

Ballistics are calculated using a 2.5" sight height and 100 yard zero. The velocities should pretty much cover most scenarios in terms of load choice (say, commercial 77's or NATO-spec) and barrel lengths. No, every possible combo is not going to be available, but anything between these velocities is not going to be very far off. For example, the dif at 300 yards between the 62@2950 and the 62@3100 is just over 1 1/2" in drop. The 77's, with their greater ballisitc coefficient, the dif at 500 yards between the 2750 and 2675 velocities is only 4".

Ballistickers also include wind drift in inches with a full-value (90 degree) wind at 10 MPH.

Point of impact is given at 25, 50, 100, and every 50 yards beyond that to 500 yards.

Pricing is the same as for EoStickers, $10 for one and $8 for each additional one in the same order, mix n' matching Ballistickers and EoStickers no prob.

Disclaimers: These are stickers, only stickers. They're good stickers, but they are not rated to hold up to being soaked in oil or being used as a skid pad for the carbine. Applied to a clean, dry surface and given a minimum of care they will last a long time. Other disclaimer: ballistic info has been collected from numerous sources, including ballistic programs, manufacturers' data, military documents, and personal range data. Each source has been cross-checked with the others and I have found them largely supportive of one another. The many, many factors affecting a bullet's path cannot be accounted for one one sticker, obviously. The information on these stickers is intended to give the user a handy, general guide for 5.56 carbine/rifle applications where aiming error would generally easily exceed any POI changes induced by temperature, barometric pressure, etc.

Stickers made to your exact ballistic specs will be available in minimum orders of 100, at $6 each.

Also have plenty of EoStickers: http://m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=7594

Ned I would buy 3ea Ballistickers if you made them for 55gr (16" bbl velocity) for a 2.5" optic-over-bore sighted in for POA/POI at 50yds.

Duly noted, guys. I will certainly respond to a wide enough demand and I know some guys prefer the 50 yd. zero.

Agreed. I'd take 6, for starters.

Very interested in 5 or so 16"/ 55gr/ 50yd'ers as well. The one I made is crap compared to those.

OK guys-- tell me what velocity you consider right then-- I'd say 2950, that's what we pretty consistently get out of XM193/16". Sometimes more, seldom less. My 55 @ 3000 sticker is actually meant to be the "XM193 out of a 16" barrel" sticker.

This is the info I was using. I don't know who to give credit to, I saved it a long time ago.

    Seem right?
