The T-1 I ordered several years ago from Smartgunner came in a nice padded black box. The T-1 I just got from Botach came in a ziplock bag with the paperwork. The optic and the paperwork look exactly the same, however.

    JSantoro,

I have witnessed many times a thread get closed for gripes about a non-site sponsor vendor. I would post a thread to use as an example but they all have been closed. I am not saying you are the suspect moderator but those prior incidents of threads getting closed is what lead to my statement on my first post. Heck last time I remeber there was a stickie on this same manner about smartgunner.

ETA: I did not mean to discredit this site or any of its moderators which is why I decided to post instead of PM you. Heck this is the only gun forum I am a member of.

    Heres the smartgunner stickie quoted:

Additionally members have been posting feedback for Smartgunner in the Feedback Area. This area is for members to post feedback about sponsors as well as members with whom they do business. It is not a place to post your experience with Smartgunner, Spike's Tactical or Sesame Street.

In the past we have tried to delete those postings and will continue to do so in the future.

If you have an issues with what has been posted here then contact me and I'll address it. You can also contact one of the other Moderators as well.
The above stickie lead me to believe posting feed back about non-site sponsors is frowned upon in this site.

If that is not the case then I guess I can thank you for further informing me on this matter and would retract my initial statement.

Can you verify how the product was shipped? i.e. white box, plastic bag, normal black Aimpoint box, etc.? Did it have any warranty info in it?

Mine came in a white box with the users manual.

The box had the unit mounted in the twistmount and had 2 allen keys. It was packed in a cutout foam pad that looked OEM.

I registered it with Aimpoint USA with no problems.

    The box was marked :
    Aimpoint AB
    3XMAG/Twistmount
    12062

    7 350004 381456

They shipped it the next day with a tracking # and I got the free pouch and Scorpion pen also.

Just thought I'd post my experience with botach. Last year I ordered an adm mount that was confirmed as in stock before I ordered. The price was about $20 less than everyone else, so I placed an order. They charged my card immediately and said they'd ship asap.

Basically they said they had an inventory issue that led to my mount being out of stock, they said it would ship in a couple weeks. Every couple weeks they gave me the same excuse. They strung me on like this for almost 5 months before I canceled. They basically got a 5 month loan with no interest.

I'll never give them my money again, pay a few more bucks and get it from someone with integrity, like grant at g&r

I ordered a Ergo FDE grip 7/6. A couple days later I got 2 emails from them, 1st one said my order shipped and gave me a tracking number. 2 hrs later another saying my grip was back ordered. I tried calling and got answering machine. Emailed and got a response in 2 days saying order should be sent in 2-3 wks.
E mailed again last week and answer was should be here from our supplier in 2-3 wks

Just received shipment today, no twist mount in the box. Plain white box had the 3x, book, 1 allen wrench. Box even says 3XMag/Twistmount on the sticker and the order confirmation states with mount.

I emailed them, but this is just a heads up for those who chose to give them a try.

    Thanks guys--

P.S. This is my surprised face.

Sorry to hear you had a problem with your order.

I ordered mine on Friday, July 29 and received it Monday, August 1. It came shipped in a white cardboard box with the twist mount and an ocular lens cover already mounted to the 3x magnifier and two Allen wrenches and an owners manual.

On a side note I didn’t like how the Aimpoint twist mount lined up to my Comp4 mounted on a LaRue LT-659 so I ordered a LaRue LT-755 for the 3x magnifier and it now lines up perfectly.
