    A thank you to M4C

back in the spring, I posted a question on here to the effect that maybe I just couldn't shoot a semi-auto and should stick with a DA revolver. The overwhelming response was no, I should learn my semi, but I could tell that some thought I had my heels dug in and would ignore the advice....
Since then, I have put over 3500 rounds through my Beretta 92, and ONLY the 92, no revolvers, no 1911's, etc. My previous accuracy issues have gone away, and I'm now able to get my hits with the Beretta as I was with the revolvers before, and I feel much more confident with 17 rounds on tap instead of 6, and the pistol has proven itself stone cold reliable.
So, thanks for the advice and encouragement, and lastly, don't think that no one is listening, because I am. My post count may be low, but that don't mean I'm not paying close attention. Thanks again.

Nice. Nice choice in the pistol too.

thanks for the kind words guys. It's great when guys with high post counts and long membership times tell the "site bubba" (me) they did well.
I am very fond of the Beretta, but lately I'm feeling a bit adulterous, it's gonna have a stablemate soon, an HK P30, and I'm trying to find a DA/SA 45 (trying to keep trigger commonality) for the winter, but the Beretta will still be a primary handgun.

    Redneck-
Youve got a great pistol...I love my M9 to death, and its so unreal reliable, got over 5000 rounds thru it, and not a single issue, not one.
It just shoots and shoots, and is SCARY accurate, especially with 115gr and +P 124gr ammo.
Have you put in a D spring yet? That alone will really really help the trigger, and its 100% reliable. IF you do that, step up your recoil spring a little bit to about 16lbs or so, and you and the gun will be happy campers bro.

Well, mine is the 92a1, so I'm a little unsure about parts compatibility, and I haven't changed a thing. The recoil spring will be due soon though, I plan on changing it at 5000 rounds.

I remember that thread. I remember thinking I was in the exact same situation as you when I switched from 1911's to Glocks. Good to hear you got it sorted out!
