    I have a Bravo Company FA BCG (in my AR-15A2) and it is well-made. I believe all of BC's stuff is the best available.

    I read that the third gas vent hole in the LMT enhanced carrier is supposed to adjust (extend?) the dwell time. Maybe that's what was going on in your buddy's rifle?

    CMT makes a good BCG, I run a few of them. The LMT carriers are good to go, is there a reason why you want to avoid them?

    Board policy mandates I state that I shoot for BCM. I have also done work for 200 or so manufacturers within the firearm community. I am prior service, a full time LEO, firearm instructor, armorer, TL, martial arts instructor, and all around good guy.

    I also shoot and write for various publications. Let me know if you know cool secrets or have toys worthy of an article...

    It is several things but it is mostly the re-timed cam path.

    I forgot about BCM and No, Stickman I don't want avoid LMT. Colt just cause I didn't want to pay for the Colt name & high price.

    It's what I run and I like. Denny isn't the most polite guy I've ever dealt with, but he got me set up, fixed a small issue, and made a satisfied customer.
