    Jeff,

Would an DSA SA58 16" carbine be an appropriate carbine for this class?

Or would an M4 type be better?

    Thanks,
    Cameron

I don't know what you mean by better. I use in class what I use at work, an AR15 / M4 platform of one type or another.

It really depends on what you want to get out of the class (knowledge / skill wise)

I don't want to speak out of turn, but remember Mr. Vickers offers a battle rifle course where he curbed the round count due to costs and fatigue. Just something to think about.
They had no right to win. Yet they did, and in doing so they changed the course of a war...even against the greatest of odds, there is something in the human spirit - a magic blend of skill, faith and valor - that can lift men from certain defeat to incredible victory.

What Jeff said. Good solid instruction.

The world according to Larry was worth the price of admission alone.

Oh, ans as soon as Safriland makes a6004 for the M&P45, I think I'll be switching...........Maybe.
