Steve
At that cost+free s/h+ availability+it being a DD........?
No confusion on that one from where I'm sitting.
Per Ardua ad Astra.
STS - gone but not forgotten.
Alright...Figured that'd be the consensus. :-)
I'm OCD about this kinda stuff, too, but in the end I think I'll be albe to live with the DD BCG in the BCM upper. It's gonna sit on an LMT lower anyway. Bit of a mashup of parts, but it's all good stuff.
And I have no idea why my original post shows up as post #3 for me, but whatever...
Oh! DD LPKs good to go as well? Think I might grab one of those as well to serve as spare parts for down the road.
Thanks!
I have a DD in my BCM LW Mid.
BCM NEVER has ANYTHING in stock.
The question is, grab a Daniel Defense BCG now from Aim, or wait and try to get one from BCM at the end of the August (their current estimated availability)?
I suppose I'd rather have the BCM, but from what I can tell, the DD is more or less as good and it's available now. I'm not really in a hurry, but a bird in the hand and all that...
I suspect in this case that one is as good as the other so I might as well go for the DD, shoot the hell out of the thing, and call it a day.
Anyone have any thoughts/opinions otherwise?

What the hell is up with the post ordering in this thread? Is it all out of whack for the rest of y'all too?

“Laws that forbid the carrying of arms disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.” –Thomas Jefferson, quoting 18th century criminologist Cesare Beccaria in “On Crimes and Punishment”, 1764
