There's a thread about it in the site comments forum. I think it's being worked on. I started noticing it last night.

Been running a DD BCG in my BCM SPR and it hasn't missed a beat. The DD unit seems to have all the bells and whistles that the BCM does and even has a nice little logo to tell others you have good parts under the hood.

I understand the OCD thing, but at the same time, as long as you are putting first rate parts in your gun, it shouldn't matter. Think of it this way, if you owned a Bushmaster, would your OCD prevent you from putting a DD BCG in it (assuming your OCD would allow you to own a Bushy).

Having made it very difficult for States and localities to police themselves, having left ordinary citizens with no choice but to protect themselves as best they can, they now try to take our guns away. In fact they blame us and our guns for crime. This is so wrong that it cannot be an honest mistake.” – former U.S. Sen. Malcolm Wallop (R-Wy.)

There's no reason not to get the DD. It's in stock and free shipping.

Of course not. I was being a bit funny and a bit serious at the same time. I would not hesitate to run a DD BCG in a BCM upper, or vice versa.

I was trying to be funny too. Anyhow, I'm happy with my DD BCG for what that is worth.

Get the BCM carrier and put a DD bolt in it. You'll have good parts and matching logos.
