    Three times torquing procedure provides for a better thread fit and prevents barrel nuts from becoming loose. Do not use the torque wrench for loosening.

    Dunno whose hands were talking about here but the 23&P calls for 30 ft-lb (40.5 N-m) on the three torques.

    The depth and breadth of technical knowledge on this forum never ceases to amaze me. Thanks for the great discussion (even though I'm not the OP)
