Looks like a Turkish copy of the CZ-97.

I'd have concerns over the sustainability of it. Magazines, parts, and how durable it is.

    Sarsilmaz K2 .45 ACP ???

    Anyone have one ??
Reading on them it seems to be very decent at 25 yards and reliable.

Seems like an improvement on the 97b, which was a poorly executed design. Might have promise, but I'm betting it will be a little too fat still due to the alloy frame and full double stacked mag. The 97b was a staggered mag of 10rds, and it was pushing the grip size limit.

    A little of this...

    But more of this...

Maybe Springfield can license it, double the price, and call it the XD2011.

The Turks already make 75s, but their 75s generally follow the dimensions of the Tanfoglios rather than the CZs.

    I.E. - the Armalite AR-24 (a Turk 75).

This gun will probably be closer to a .45 Tanfolio or a .45 IWI 'baby desert eagle" than a 97.

Does it have a barrel bushing? THe 97 does. The Tanfoglio/IWI/IMI does not.

BTW - Tanfoglio casts the slide & frame for IWI/IMI but the rest of the work is doen in Israel.

Hi everyone, I just joined up.
my name is Kaz, I was interested in finding a place to post some info on my new gun and my experiences with finding follow up support on it.
when I figure the sight out a little more I will get into more detail, but I wanted to take the edge off anyone wondering about getting one of eaa's newer offering the sar k2 45.
this handgun is the nicest I have ever fired or even held for that matter, the craftsmanship is superb and it is no where near as hard to find the essentials for it as I thought it would be (my thought), I have already managed two more official mags for it with no pain and could easily relieve anyone frustration in that department if they too have the gun and need more mags. anyway, nice to be a member hope I can help some people with info on the gun, any questions just ask. I have handled/fired/and or owned these and them some; cz spo1 tac, cz spo1 phantom, glock 17, 22, 20, fn five seven, berretta 92 fs, springfield xd40, ruger gp100, and some others I will have to remember, so, those are what I have to compare to. thanks guys.

    Hi Kaz. Welcome!

I have a K2 on order. I managed to find a couple mags at a shop down in Fl. but that is all. Who's your source for them?

When you say the frame is "alloy," I assume you mean aluminum. Are you sure about this? I'm not finding much on this gun, but things I am seeing are saying all-steel.

Kind of excited about this one. I've had good experiences with the guns the Turks make. Not so happy about EAA.

ETA: EAA's site is saying all-steel.

I found mine on man venture outpost, but there were some other good deals, you wont find them if you search sarsilmaz k2 45 online, but if you google eaa sar k2 45 you will probably be as surprised as I was as they appeared on tons of websites I had already checked, I got mine for 17 dollars each to, which is damn fine. as for alloy, no, it is all steel, the most solidly constructed gun I have ever held.
