I wonder who picks him up, S&W or Springfield?

    Wow, that's big news.

I predict a big contract from who ever signs him.

Wow. Seems like Glock has lost some great shooters over the last couple years.

Is that a hint?! I hope he gets what he wants. I've had the opportunity to talk to him in person twice and he's a really nice guy. Good luck, Sir.

Wow, this is a big shock. I just saw Mr. Sevigny at a local USPSA match Sunday in his Glock uniform. I guess this leaves Glock with only female shooters (Tori Nonaka and Randi Rogers).

My guess is he's going to shoot for S&W since they have both striker fired pistols and 1911s so he can shoot anything from the Single Stack Classic, Steel Challenge to IDPA.

It seems that Glock is very prohibitive in allowing their sponsored shooters to accept sponsorship from multiple vendors. Watch their uniforms, they only say Glock on them. Look at other pro shooters, they have a billboard of advertisers logo on their shirts.

Good luck to David, I'm sure he will do well wherever he goes.

It has been stated by others that SA just brought out that new 5.25" XDM competition. Built around him?

Damn, guess he won't make the Gunny Challenge this year..... I like Dave he's a great guy, phenominal shooter as well. He always said how much he believed in GLOCK's products that's why he chose to shoot for them. I wonder what's up with that..... When we were at a local concert here in Atlanta about a year ago I asked what he thought about the Gen 4s and if he had experienced any of the troubles common to them. He was quick to say " No, none at all. I haven't heard of any" I don't know if anything has changed since then or if it has anything whatsoever to do with their products... I'm sure the reason while surface sooner or later.

    It makes the most sense.

Does anyone shoot at his level without a major manufactures support? Is it possible to run with only smaller companies?
