Don't think their sponsored right now, and I don't think their big on single stack, but guys like Mike Voight, and JoJo Vidanes are pretty darn good.

Bob Vogel and Nils Jonasson made it to Sevigny's level without major sponsorship. (I don't know the in's and out's of whatever small deals they might have had, but they weren't full factory rides, so to speak.) Now that they've made it to that level, the sponsorship has come.

(There's no real developmental program in shooting, like the way a sponsor might groom a racing driver. You make it to the top on your own, and then the sponsorship comes. Usually not the other way around.)

Cool, that is what I was wondering. I did not think there was any developmental type stuff, but wasnt sure. I know all the shooters with their "discount sponsorships" make it tough to really tell.

Development program is Mom and Dad. Like a lot of folks, the top shooters started young and we see the results today: Nils, Katie Harris, Tori N., Max Michel, Travis Tomasie, etc.

Juniors can also attend the MGM Juniors Camp which is a smokin' deal to learn from some of the best (MM, Matt Burkett, et. al.).

Saw him at the local Griffin Steel Challenge. Sounds like a machine gun when he shoots.

Glock seems HIGHLY unstable right now.

They've had massive turnover with their reps and district managers recently, their sales staff are largely clueless (completely intentional move by corporate), their Gen 3 and Gen 4 9mm's are having issues like Glock hasn't seen in over 15 years, and now they loose their biggest name.

I just went through one of their armorers classes in the past week or so. Both the instructor and the District Manager in attendance didn't know the configuration of the how the Gen 4 guns were shipping. I knew more as a dealer than they knew as sales reps.

The market is prime for S&W to make their move...IF they can prove to everyone that the M&P is finally "there" (which they won't).

Thats news to me. What "issues" are gen 3's having?
There is a fight, that began before any of us were ever born. It will continue, long after we have retired, moved on, and left this world. It is a fight for the soccer mom next door, your mailman, the guy that bags your groceries, and most importantly, it is a fight for your family. We are in a daily battle not for land, not for resources or colonial controls...we are in a fight for our very way of life
