I've had this set up for 5 years now. French press FTW!
Hello all, bumping this thread. With everything going on, I am having most of my coffee shipped to me via Black Rifle which does indeed make a good cup of coffee. I'm wondering if there are any other brands or local shops that I can order from that you all recommend.
Dr. Carter G. Woodson, “History shows that it does not matter who is in power or what revolutionary forces take over the government, those who have not learned to do for themselves and have to depend solely on others never obtain any more rights or privileges in the end than they had in the beginning.”
BRCC is fine, but I prefer local roasters a great deal more.
Tj maxx/ homegoods actually has great whole bean coffees... when they have them.
They also have decent french presses.
If you really want to get into it, get a french press, and a chemex/pour-over. And if you have spare cash, an esspressomaker.
Ill try to get name brands later, but we have a chemex, 2 french presses (traditional and fine mesh), and an espresso maker. They all make very different coffee from the same beans. It just depends on what mood you’re in.
Great info. I love coffee too, can't imagine my morning without it. Thanks for the link!
My latest obsession with coffee is making it the Vietnamese way with their pour over filter called a Phin and condensed milk. Awesome stuff!
I'm not a big coffee drinker, but the best I've had is Cafe' 1820 from Costa Rica
Gettin' down innagrass.
Let's Go Brandon!
Lavazza Kilimanjaro single origin..can purchase at most grocery stores, inexpensive @ $9 for 12 oz bag and delicious ! Far smoother than Peets/Starbucks/DD/BRCC etc
