Curious as to the higher price

Is the quality that much better than say Stag or a RRA LPK ?

I'm thinking that it would make a good upgrade package or some folks may just need to replace some worn parts.

All those items are in stock (use LMT parts and KNS precision ground trigger and hammer pins). There is a pic of these items in the first photo.

Yes the quality is better than Stag and RRA. As someone that has installed hundreds of SA LPK's, I can tell you that they are "pretty good", but not the best.

Think of LMT LPK's as equal too Colt's.

Who's LPK is "the best" or at least better, in your opinion?

They tend to be in the $130 range.

If you could get them, Colt would be it IMHO. You can of course order every small piece via Brownells, but believe the cost to be around $150 (or more) for it. My second choice would be LMT.

If KAC makes a lot of the components in house, I would be interested in seeing those as well.

    Grant-
Are you referring to Colt non-mil - large hole fgc? Or can you buy "standard" size pins/fcg?

I guess I am asking if we can get apples from an orange tree.

The pins you are talking about are a very small part of a quality LPK. So you can compare apples to apples if you leave out the difference in pins sizes.

What, do you do this for a job or something?

I thought about that a few minutes after smashing the submit button. Typing without engaging the brain housing group, sorry.
