You might want to check with Remington or another shop before you give up hope. Individual shops do not always have the correct/up to date information.

I spoke with Remington and Remington LE about 6 months ago and was told they had no plans to produce more #24899's.

It took some looking, but a Remington LE rep put me in touch with Ed's Public Safety. They had #24899's in stock a few months back. Delivery was prompt.

I do believe this was a special, limited run and it's currently no longer available. I bought one (24899) last year and I'm so glad I did, it's awesome. However, In the thread linked below, there is contact info for Lou's Police Supply. Call them ASAP and ask to speak to Linda, if anyone can help you... she can. She took a lot of orders for these including mine and she was more than great to work with. If any are still available or if REM is going to make more she'll know or find out for you. Good luck.
