45 yards with the muzzle loader. Dropped him in his tracks.

Nice pictures of your hunt. That's awesome! Thanks for sharing your rifle and cartridge selections. What optics were you using?

    That's a beautiful buck.

When I was a youngster out in West Texas, the .270 was pretty much everyone's favorite cartridge. I'm sure it's even better with the new Barnes projectiles.

It definitely did what it was supposed too. I much rather us lead than the copper because it will still expand at lower velocities were the Barnes TTSX need at least 2000 fps to expand. But the round still did the job.

I don't know much about coyotes but they look huge.
"Why "zombies"? Because calling it 'training to stop a rioting, starving, panicking, desperate mob after a complete governmental financial collapse apocalypse' is just too wordy." or in light of current events: training to stop a rioting, looting, molotov cocktail throwing, skinny jeans wearing, uneducated bunch of lemmings duped by, or working directly for, a marxist organization attempting to tear down America while hiding behind a race-based name

Those are pretty decent size. The ones around here in North Texas don't seem to be that large. Not that I see anyway. I always seen mangy ass coyotes too. Never have a good coat.
