    Suppressed 9mm AR

I've been working on this build for almost a year now. It has a Colt SMG lower for now but I'm waiting on a stamp for a DDLES dedicated 9mm lower to finish it out. I'm going to sex it up with Magpul furniture to match the upper.
I'm a disabled shooter plus a lousy video actor, but you'll get the idea.

Looks like a good setup so far. Personally like the idea of the ddles lower although I don't know if I'd replace an already sbr'd lower with one.

Never seen one of those BE Adaptive trigger things before. How well does it work?

The BE Adaptive trigger device works, but it's flawed.
The mounting system is not very versatile. It was originally designed to attach to a standard sporter rifle. The guy who makes them is great about working with users to fit a bracket to their gun. The one I have fits many AR trigger guards, but not my SCARs and I don't think it's going to fit the DDLES.
If you watch the video, you'll notice it double-taps. This would be a feature if I could make it happen, but it chooses when.

I know the guys at DDLES and shoot with them. That's why I'm doing their lower too. Besides, that dedicated lower is really cool.

    Thanks

I agree with you on that lower being really cool. If I decide to get a 9mm ar it will be with their lowers(had a cx4 9mm and sold it thinking I might do an ar instead).

Any accuracy issues with that trigger system? IE does it pull the rifle like one could using their hands to throw the aim off?

I don't know for sure because I can't test it. My guess is it's very accurate because it's consistant. I use the sip'n puff actuator so it probably would affect long range precision shooting where breathing gets really critical. I only shoot 25 to 200 yards.

Hmmm, it seems I've seen something like what you're describing somewhere.

    9mm build

Ferris2son - my compliments on the build - very nicely done - may I ask what weight buffer you are using and the ammo?

Nice PCSporter. How long did it take you to build it? 5" barrel?

Thanks. The buffer came with the 6450 and I've never messed with it.
The ammo that day was Fiocchi 147 and 158gr FMJ.

    Thumbs up

I've gotta say that's totally brilliant and that watching that video makes me very, very happy for you. Keep up the good work!
