Remington 700 in .243 but with the Magpul hunter bottom (plastic) metal in the Maple stock. No, a .243 doesn't need a Surefire Socom brake, that's so I can mount a can...

Marlin 336 Dark Tactical Scout Rifle

Marlin 336 Dark 30-30, Dead Air Nomad 30 Silencer, Vortex Scout Scope (2-7x).

An interesting fact, when using Hornady Sub-sonic 30-30 with silencer, it is not possible to use the factory iron sights on this rifle with this silencer. The iron sights won't zero, but you can "adjust" your own eye (guestimation). So you have to use an optic (red dot, scout scope, normal scope, etc.) to get zero'd in using this silencer with sub-sonic ammo.

    Hey Maximus,

Do you happen to know the barrel OD at the thread shoulder? I have a SF can but had trouble finding a lefty threaded rifle in 300wm.

Nice rifle by the way, the blonde wood is always a classic.

Not without going out to the garage to search for my calipers. I know that when I had my gunsmith thread the barrel, there wasn't much shoulder. It's a pretty light rifle, and the barrel isn't a very heavy one. Just enough to put the muzzle device on. I used the rockset jut to be sure...

Thanks for the info - I'll ask around and see if any smiths are willing to do it. Ended up with a T3X hunter.

Replaced the mediocre polymer stock with a Boyds bull barrel stock.
Floats the barrel nicely, and this thing is a laser beam.
