What's really sad is seeing some kid in Montana cruisin' around town with his cap on backwards blasting that bullshit. These are kids who, by and large, have never met a black person. Totally clueless and would get chewed up in half a heartbeat if the ever actually found themselves in an urban environment "for realsies."

Funny thing is, I have yet to see a bunch of black kids riding around Compton or wherever in a F-250 wearing Stetsons cranking up the Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood. Where's the love?

If we can get the government out of marriage, and out of matters where one person isn't physically hurting or sealing from another, things will return to normal. It would be an almost immediate return to the normalcy and Americana most of us on the forum grew up in, a reasonably distant memory at this point. People would quickly learn how to interact with each other. They'd work, get their self confidence back and live like human beings, standing as tall as any self-made wealthy man, even if earning the most meager of wage. People would respect hard work, no matter the pay or profession. If the Federal Government needs money for the military, it can return to taxing predatory imports.

I truly don't think this is true. I see a bunch of "ghetto" looking lower class white kids...but in my opinion educated middle class kids(of all races) have moved right on past the fad that you fellas are describing.

Even the popular hip-hop these days has way more in common with dance/club music than anything resembling gangster rap(or the money/diamond rap that came after it.)

Even the stars themselves are less likely to be seen in great big FUBU jackets, you're more likely to see skinny jeans. I'm not saying it's a huge improvement(skinny jeans, really?)...but it really kind of is an improvement.

Worry about the next generation...but not because they're going to become all ghetto and rapper wannabes.
