Welcome to M4c. Come here to learn, and contribute what facts you have. Don’t get into petty BS, and you’ll find a broad knowledge base here. There is very little tolerance here for BS.

I'll gladly point out that I'm not a moderator, but I've been posting on firearm boards since 1999, and the "200 posts" ends up being a credible way to weed out trouble makers. Sure, guys who like to lurk have issues with the postings, and I can understand that. However, I think most lurkers understand it is nothing personal.

Heck, even for a *non*-AR-enthusiast or SME, just asking questions it's still surprisingly easy to make the cut... and I'm saying that from the position of probably being our Village Idiot.

I think its just not being familiar with the board. If you look at this rule, and compare it to arfcom, the rules here don't make sense at first. If you compare the results, they make a lot of sense.

Hello from NC. Definitely not new to guns, but VERY new to the AR platform. Had a complete lower for two and a half years before completing it a couple weeks ago in 223 wylde. Now I have 2 more lowers and am currently going 6.5 Grendel with the next. I think I'm in trouble. LOL

They are like legos for grown men. There is a sense of pride in working on something and having it practical as well as a functional weapon.

At first I was a little grumpy about the hoops one has to hop through. But, that was a VERY VERY short period of time when I simply looked at the quality of the posts here.


And, if I was being truthful with myself I am too new to building and shooting these to ADD anything useful yet. I'll be well past 200 posts before I'm doing anything other than asking questions, showing pics and giving impressions.
