    Been a little bored around the house ......

    ....so I thought I'd give holster making a try. I'm using 8/9 oz cowhide . . .

    I'm not much of a leather guy (too sweaty), but these look really good to me. Did you reinforce the mouths with anything other than a second layer of leather?

    No sir, the two 1/8" thick layers of leather cure pretty stiff.
