Would you say that someone who could get a first round hit on a human-head-sized balloon from a reasonably stationary helicopter, at +/- 400 meters and 200' +/- AGL, using a .300 bolt gun would be a fairly talented shooter, or meh?
What if it took two rounds to do it?
What if the helo was moving no more than 10 mph, same range and height, and parallel to the target?
What if the shooter was firing from an unknown distance consistent with the position the pilot could get the bird in - meaning the shooter would have to range, dope, dial, and shoot, never letting the helo remain stationary for any significant period of time?
Which of these conditions would need to be true for it to be a pretty damn good shot (let's leave out the possibility of return fire for a minute, but that's the reason for the helo not hovering).
