    Any news on a M&P 22 conversion?

Hey guys, have any of you heard anything about a 22 conversion for the M&P line? I would really like to be able to train with the cheaper ammo, but haven't been able to find out anything. Thanks in advance.

This comes up pretty often and I track it myself, but there's no recent news I've heard about for a .22 conversion kit. Usually if anybody knows, Grant (user name c4igrant) does.

There is, however, the standalone M&P .22 pistol:

Thanks for the info maximus, Im aware of the M&P 22, but I really want a conversion to keep training as realistic as possible. Im installing the Apex Tactical DCAEK on my 9mm and I want the conversion to get a lot of cheap trigger time. I guess ill just have to wait patently like everyone else.

Several companies have tried this over the years and all eventually wind up taking it off the market. I bought the first one bushmaster made and sent it back 3 times to get there "revised" model and still never worked. Got my money back. Spikes Tactical just took there's off the market because of to many problems. I to would love to be able to train for a cheaper price but with these 22lr convections the only thing you train is malfunction drills. Which I guess isn't a bad thing but at that rate just go buy yourself some dummy rounds.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm referring to a M&P handgun .22 conversion. Like they make for Glock handguns.

Oh!! Sorry about that. I have the Advantage Arms conversion for my Glock 19/23 and works great. Only issue I've ever had is if your shooting alot in one day you may need to take the slide off and just run the cleaning rod down the barrel but that's due to the dirty 22 ammo not a flaw in the conversion.
