I have had both a 10 inch 416 and a 10 inch Novekse Mk18. Both run perfectly on full auto. I run an AAC 416 supressor and both of them run perfectly with that too. Either I am lucky or if you stick with quality uppers you are good.

If you aren't armed when you take a dump in your own home then your opinion on what is a practical daily carry weapon isn't interesting to me.
You can use a standard carrier. Grant feels it improves unsuppressed function but I have not used one, and don't ever shoot the small port without a silencer.
I have really enjoyed my Noveske 10.5" SBR w/ AAC suppressor. The switchblock is a definitely high priority add if you are looking for a suppressed platform.

I like Noveske, and I like the switchblock.
But I could not justify $1,400 for an upper only to leave the switchblock on the suppressed setting 100% of the time.
For less than $1,000 I got a 10.5" with a small port and a centurion rail. (With a Noveske receiver to boot)
When I redo my BCM 14.5" Middy I will get a switchblock. That is something I will actually shoot unsuppressed.
Why do the loudest do the least?
why not just buy a 11.5" Daniel defense barrel
mate it to a good upper flat top
appropriate buffer h-2
sprinco spring
bet grant can built the whole thing
few know more than him on s.b.r.'s
any name brand can i know of will work.
i use a surefire but thats just me
dont over complicate a simple thing
dont start cutting and chopping.
this has worked for me on 2 guns
have other 11.5's and lmt's 10.5's
i love these
good luck
