I can't figure out why I can't see my images that I post using Firefox but can using Safari.
Go to your "Tools" tab at the top of the page.
Click "Options"
Click "Content"
Make sure the box is check for "load images automatically"
I have the same problem. I can see certain images in Chrome, but not in firefox. My guess is that images uploaded as attachments, aren't showing up for some reason. But images that are linked to work fine.
For example, in this thread I can't see the images in firefox. All I see is the image name:
http://m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=88353
I can see the images in this thread:
http://m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=88452
mvician: I don't see those options in Tools
Altoids: that's exactly what is happening.
Thanks
I have a similar issue with peoples pictures not showing up. Most of them work fine when they are linked to photobucket or such.
Not sure where you are or if this has any bearing on your issue but, I have this issue at work, its very annoying because they actually block the most well known image hosting sites, and of course youtube, and anything gun related EXCEPT m4carbine.net.

sounds like your running NOScript. (you should be)
is there an S either upper right or lower right??
if so does it have a NO symbol Like red circle with red bar.
If so just right click on that and ALLOW M4carbine or the image host
it is blocking (the main block will be the BOLD one..)
if that is the site you are on it is ok. (that is to stop things like clicking on a site and someother site running scripts)
Hope that helps... if not i'll check back to trouble shoot more.
It's not a problem with Firefox. Technically Firefox is displaying those two pages correctly.
In the above link, the "images" are not actually images, but URL links to the images. The back-end html code is an "a href" html tag, meaning that the webpage not actually supposed to display the contents of the URL link, but just point to it.
In this link, the images are actually embedded in the webpage using an "img src" HTML tag. Meaning that the webpage is supposed to display the image when the webpage is viewed.
Basically, Firefox is working correctly in these two instances according to the way HTML is supposed to work. Internet Explorer and Chrome are assuming that you'll want to view the images and taking some liberties with interpreting the HTML code.
Uniform64, I'm not sure how you're attempting to include images in your post, but you should be using the little "Insert image" button in m4c's post-editing-tool. This will generate the "img src" html tag to correctly embed the image. If you're using the "Insert link" button, this generates a "a href" pointer to the image file. I'm assuming this is the problem.
