    There is no way I would spend that much on a Spike's upper.

    Spikes is only worth it if 1) you understand what you're getting and why, and 2) the price is substantially lower...

    Some like the Perm Comp and some don't. Last run of permed 14.5" they had I simply called up Spikes direct and had them send me the same set up without the perm FH.

    Thats insane. You can get practically the same thing from Noveske for practically the same price.

    For all you are getting thats a pretty solid price . I just dont like the permed flash hider . Where is everyone shopping for their noveske rifles that they find uppers for under 800 bucks ? I was just at their website and the cheapest upper was at least 150 bucks more . And that was for a basic model .

    If you really want the doodads which come packaged, its a decent deal. If not, not. The previous offering was more appealing to a larger crowd.
