    Bushmaster Aluminum car stock

I picked up a bushmaster aluminum car stock at the gunshow today and now I'm wondering where I can get a receiver extension that will fit it. I have a bushmaster fiberite receiver extension back home, but in case that doesn't fit I'd like to know what my options are.

I've never seen one, are they heavy?

I don't have a scale handy, but it feels a bit heavier than a tapco fiberite type stock.

I'd say it most likely uses a commercial RE.

I agree, I'm fairly certain it's commercial. The issue is that most current commercial receiver extensions (the slant back kind) are too long. I need the ones meant for the older car type stock and I'm not really sure who carries those.

Does it fit your fiberlite extension?

Look for a 2 or 4 position receiver extension, rather than 6.

Luckily it does fit my fiberite extension, though it's a bit looser than the bushmaster fiberite that was on it. That and the latch doesn't engage the extension the best. I'm thinking about stealing some parts off a tapco stock I have and see if that helps.

If it helps, the Bushmaster Aluminum CAR stock that is on the "preban" that I have is a two (2) position.
