    I would not recommend buying a 720p HDTV over 50" unless you are on a severe budget. You CAN see the pixels at that size. Plus 720p's are very rare birds now.

    Plasmas look more natural and film like when watching movies or any other material. They used to be the undisputed heavy weight champs of deep blacks but the new LCD's are making some serious head way.

    I personally would not get hung up in the 3D stuff as that technology with be rapidly changing. My gut feeling is it will go away.

    Make sure you do your research and do not listen to the dopes at Best Buy. Most big box store help is as educated as your average gun store putz.

    LEDs are sweet but for budgets sake I picked up a plasma. Of course, YMMV, but we scooped a 1080p 50" Panasonic off Craigslist for $425. Only bad thing about Plasmas is they reflect real bad, so if you are planning on putting this opposite a wall of windows...well, it'll piss you off.

    Depends on the plasma and the LCD. There are plenty LCDs with reflective screens.
