I'm using a Spike's upper with a 16" Rainer Arms Ultra Match barrel and free floated handguards. Very accurate with the right handloads.

I have been seriously considering a white oak varmint upper 20" stainless barrel in 204 ruger.

I generally just use a 16" Larue stealth that I have had for years. I use mainly for coyotes.

Been using a Les Baer in .204 ruger since 2005 and I love it. If I were in the market for another varmint AR I think I would build one most likely with the white oak .204 barrel. The LBC is nice but for 2,600$ you can build a pretty accurate AR that don't say LBC on all the parts. The .204 is a great choice for varmints but IME its light for big coyotes at long 400+ range, kills them but dont be afraid to shoot them twice.

Link to a quick review I did on the LBC .204

I've used HBAR's, pencil barrels and custom barrels for coyotes, they all will work.

But right now I'm liking my 16" Noveske light weight, the coyotes aren't...

Mine is an 18" Remington VTR-15. Great little AR for hunting, only change I've made to it is to drop a Wilson Combat Trigger into it and add a Nikon BDC reticle scope. Extremely accurate gun!
