Interesting, I didn't know Ruger made a 30 carbine revolver.

S&W Model 64 DAO .38 Special. I beadblasted everything but the hammer and trigger, painted the front ramp in red and finished with black cherry VZ grips. Leather is a matching cordovan basket weave holster and belt from Milt Sparks.

    Excellent old "4 screw".

    (: (:

You’re sure right , but that (strain) screw doesn’t count. It most def is a 5 screw.
I NOW see the 4 side plate screws and the 5th is in front/top of trigger guard.
I couldn’t see the top, side plate screw with the photos angle (and lack of reading glasses).

Irregardless, it’s “fine as frog hair”!

I’m lucky to have 2” 5 and 4 screws like this, but not in quite as good of condition.

    You have some dandies bro.

    Thank you sir.
I am currently only collecting S&W revolvers that shipped in Nov. of 1947.
My grail is one that letters to a ship date of 11/13/47.
Any model, any caliber, any bbl. length, and almost any condition.
