S&W Model 64 DAO .38 Special. I beadblasted everything but the hammer and trigger, painted the front ramp in red and finished with black cherry VZ grips. Leather is a matching cordovan basket weave holster and belt from Milt Sparks.

S&W Mountain Gun in .45 Colt. I bobbed the hammer, it’s been magnaported, with red fiber optic front sight from Dawson, white outline adjustable Rough Country sight from Bowen Classic Arms, Roper stocks in figured walnut from Herrett’s, basket weave holster in cordovan from Milt Sparks.

A true "Gun Guy" (or gal) should have familiarity and a modicum of proficiency with most all firearms platforms.
gaijin, hidden under the RH stock is the elusive 5th screw.

You’re sure right , but that (strain) screw doesn’t count. It most def is a 5 screw.
I NOW see the 4 side plate screws and the 5th is in front/top of trigger guard.
I couldn’t see the top, side plate screw with the photos angle (and lack of reading glasses).
Irregardless, it’s “fine as frog hair”!
I’m lucky to have 2” 5 and 4 screws like this, but not in quite as good of condition.
