They are a handful. Although I must admit the synthetic material they manufacture the grip from really helps. (I can manage about 30 rounds before my wrist gets tired and sore). Part of the problem is the design of the frame itself. It doesn't lend itself well to handling recoil, because the gun tends to rotate around the grip far more than on other high powered handguns like the Remington XP-100, and others like it that have the action behind the grip. This causes A LOT of muzzle flip. This is my XP-100 in .35 Remington. Not quite as hot of a cartridge as a .308, but it is much more comfortable to shoot. The stock is a laminated coffee model I bought on a closeout from Fajen. Even with hot handloads, the gun is very comfortable to shoot.
