My favorite contemporary hunting weapon. Remington Custom Shop 700 long action Mountain Rifle, chambered in .280 Remington. Action blueprinted at Custom Shop. Barrel is 24" air gauged sporter profile. No Remington or other mfg identification. Believed to be Douglas sourced. McMillan stock. Built in mid-90s before Remington's decline.

Scope is Leupold VX6-HD 2-12x42 with Firedot Duplex reticle. Zero stop, zero lock, MOA turrets. Mounted in steel Talley QD rings and bases.

Sling is Brownell's Latigo.

Just got my rifle in. Its made by Alamo Precision Rifles on a Defiance Tenacity action. It's in 6.5PRC. Magpul Bipod and Leupold VX-6HD 3-18x-50 scope. Haven't had the chance to shoot it yet. Raining every weekend here.
