The Super V is the super 3 gun trigger with a pound heavier trigger pull. ALL of the new super 3 gun triggers come with the GOLD trigger spring to make them a Super V trigger. I have not seen the Super V advertised since the spring was added with the S3Gs.
If anyone that has a S3G and wants to try the heavier trigger spring you can contact Geissele and they will hook you up.
WS6, I have 3 S3G triggers and I run the heavier spring in one of them. I like the trigger with either spring. I'm not partial to one over the other.

I don't see or feel a difference in hammer springs but I don't know 100%. I have never had any primer strike problems, ever, with their triggers.
Remember, 2 stage triggers do not operate like GI/single stage triggers so essentially, they do not need lighter springs to function better. However, all three springs come into play when it comes to trigger pull and reset. I have taken several types of Geissele triggers and put different springs in them and have made some interesting triggers. Right now I am playing around with a G2S trigger with different springs and it has an SSA-E type trigger pull to it.

Actually, the 2 stage G trigger works very much like a standard AR trigger, with a small difference- A lighter trigger spring is used so the first stage pull is reduced and the disconnector is designed to add it's spring tension for the second stage

I am American
I've got a sd3g with a heavier spring and love it.
I have the S3G in mine with the 4.5lb gold spring. It is an excellent combination.

In another collaboration, VTAC and Geissele Automatics have produced the Super “V” trigger. This trigger is a single stage type trigger that has no adjustment screws to come loose during operation. This trigger allows the shooter to have a competition quality crisp 4-4.5 lb pull weight with the reliability of a simple combat trigger. (The “V” stands for Viking Tactics by the way.)
