Post WW2 the Europeans adopted socialism, and increasingly the US has dabbled into socialism as well. Now that we are 15 trillion in debt because of it, and the Euro's have run out of money reality is about to bite a lot of people on the ass. Communism and socialism are and always will be failures as economic systems.




And for the liberals the cost of our social programs has been FAR FAR greater than all our wars since WW2 combined. We spend more in a decade, adjusted for inflation, on our social programs than all of WW2. Defense and wars have not been whats us led us here. Its the HUGE social spending and public employee contracts that have saddled much of the Federal and state governments.
