    I want to know what their ''hybrid'' system is supposed to be.

    Colt is definitely stepping up their game.

    If their piston gun proves to be better (more reliable/accurate/lightweight) than the HK 416, I'll consider it a worthy endeavor.

    But I'm convinced by the users here, that pistons are pretty much retarded.

    After all. Cleaning was the only benefit they gave me when I used them.

    I see Colt 6945 SCW in DI in my future.

    I do like the SCW. Very neat. Hopefully it will compare favorably to modern folding-stock designs like the SCAR and ACR.

    Board policy mandates I state that I shoot for BCM. I have also done work for 200 or so manufacturers within the firearm community. I am prior service, a full time LEO, firearm instructor, armorer, TL, martial arts instructor, and all around good guy.
