    Almost always knowingly.

    2. When it comes to crimes more often than not the state would either have you pay a fine or plead to a lesser crime. Both mean more money in their pocket. They either get fine money or don't have to send you to jail as long while reducing court costs. Win win on their side.
Oh the injustice of the world. And how many people are innocent? Can you give me a number? A percent? Or are you just blowing smoke?

    3. It has never been so stacked against the defendant as it is now, and especially with challenging laws. Both the Heller and McDonald cases had millions of dollars backed into each case...which is an amount no average citizen can muster without the mercy of a private organization. For instance the prosecutors can sink millions of dollars into their case but when it comes to public defenders they have almost zero resources even though both sides are publicly paid. And no its not "deal with it." If people had just said "deal with it" we'd never had a revolution.
Viva la revolucion. Seriously spare me the idiotic patriotic straw man defense.

    4. Most death penalty cases that go to the SCOTUS are pro bono, and not every defendent gets that luxury because 2A cases are not in vogue the way DP cases are. We've had Heller and McDonald which were, and there is much less interest in 2A cases nationwide than DP cases. If either Heller or McDonald did not have pro-bono protection the 2A would have been restricted to whatever the city state wanted it to mean because they would never have gotten the legal minds involved in the case.
Fortunately...99% of convicted felons...are actually guilty.

Justice is not about right and wrong its about how much money you have or who wants to argue to the SCOTUS. The state or Feds will spend millions of dollars fighting a case to gain power against a guy who makes 30k a year and can't afford even one hour with a lawyer worth a shit. Deal with it? They did in 1776 and started shooting people.
Abject bullshit. We have a adverserial system. It's been this way since before this nation was founded. You have a better idea? Implement it...until then it's the best system we have.

Nice try, but you're gonna have to do a LOT better than that to get my goat. All you've offered in this thread is weak assed bullshit, based on your on deluded self perception of moral superiority. Unfortunately, you've blown any credibility you might have ever had straight out your ass with some of the stupid shit you've typed.

    Considering the source...I remain underwhelmed.

    Once again...thank you for playing.

[QUOTE=Gutshot John;1111612][QUOTE=Thomas M-4;1111607]Just because he fled does not convict a person.

Agreed but it does give PC to obtain a search warrant and obtain evidence which probably would have resulted in conviction.

Do I believe that people do dumb shit? Sure. Does that qualify as insanity? Nope.

I'll have to take your word for it on your brother, it sounds like he got the help he needed...I also might say that if your brother was a violent felon it might have gone in a different direction.

He wasn't violent except to him self. He served in the Navy and the Army he is now a disabled veteran. Did he do Dumb ass shit yes even he admits too it now. He kept tying to fix something that was unfix-able. But if you knew him then as to compared to now then I am sure you would have a different view. His kids and him have a far better life now than before when he kept trying to tame a whore wife that he did have.

Like I said before I don't believe in suicide but I have seen enough not to automatically condom a person that does.

Like I said, if you have some evidence that his gf submitted a false police report or made a false accusation, or that the police acted improperly, present it.

Barring that, the whole argument on your side is based on histrionic nonsense based on an ideological preference rather than any real critcial thought.

I'd stack my credibility against yours any day of the week. Are you even playing on the same planet? Seems to me you're the one indulging in histrionic nonsense.

If you say so. Might want to check out a dictionary when you've got a minute.

If you've got some evidence that the girl lied, or the police acted improperly...share it.

Otherwise you're just blowing smoke, tinged with emotionalist nonsense.
